Today’s I Ching – 29 Double Pitfall. Water above, Water below. Double Pitfall follows Great Surpassing in the order of the Hexagrams.
Spirit explains: Great Surpassing is going beyond what might satisfy some, pushing ourselves to excellence as seen through our own eyes, not through the eyes of others. Double Pitfall refers to extremes of self-confidence and humility.
We can, Spirit tells me, choose to walk the middle way, between boundaries we set for ourselves.
Again I hesitate to ask Spirit what His reading says to me, and it always says something, to me. Today I feel weary, but I doubt that He plans to encourage me to rest awhile.
Yes. He reads my thoughts. Keep moving, even if it must be slowly.
