Blessings may not last

Spirit shares I Ching wisdom

14 – Great Possession

Great Possession develops out of Community and leads to Humility, if we accept the blessing that associating with others is, when we are fortunate and wise enough to develop close ties with people who share our way of life.

What is our way? Is it a shared world view? Or a specific goal? Or what? And, how can we ever know who is really with us, and why?

So many questions.

They seemed to appear in my mind, one after another, in a continuous stream.

Without pause?

Without pause.

Then, how can they be answered separately?

Perhaps their answers would all be as one.

As companions and community?

I guess.

Then enjoy and be thankful to Life for whatever blessings come, while they last, and accept that whatever comes may go, for whatever reason.

A Spirit teacher explains I Ching 26 – Great Accumulation.

Mountain over Heaven. Great Accumulation follows No Error.

This hexagram expresses a mountain of blessings received,
not unconditionally, but as a result of steady effort to build on a firm foundation, as suggested by No Error.

Nothing happens of itself. All situations, event, actions, thoughts or emotions develop out of earlier effects, which then caused, or contributed to the present and will extend their influence into the future.

No Error refers to a conscious effort to return to following a plan, a trusted way to success.

Is there a personal message? If so, please explain.

You have learned much by listening to me. Yes?

Yes.

There is always danger to humility not to be aware that there is much more to learn.

And to be grateful for blessings received?

Yes.

I Ching 55 – Abundance. Thunder is over Fire.

 

Spirit explains:

 

Thunder suggests an abundance of rain.

Fire suggests and abundance of light and heat.

 

Both thunder and fire create and are created by

Movement. Something changes. Something always changes.

 

Abundance expresses blessings far beyond survival needs.

 

Why do I not experience such a lifestyle?

 

You do.

 

I’m not aware of it.

Today’s I Ching – 43 – Removal

Lake above. Heaven below.

Removal follows Increase.

 

Spirit explains:

 

Spring rain raises the level of a lake to overflowing.

Visualize a lake held high by Heaven. The emotion,

Love, is as such a lake, overflowing and pouring

Blessings on everyone and everything below Heaven.
