Following follows Delight.
We choose what and whom we follow, if we follow,
And we do, if only our own Way.
Delight suggests extreme pleasure; a light,
Personal pleasure, without much thought as to
Where it is leading us.
What’s wrong with pleasure?
Nothing, unless it becomes a Way of Life.
And then we’re doomed?
Yes.
Today’s I Ching – 5 – Waiting
Water above, Heaven below
Waiting follows Immaturity in the order of the Hexagrams.
Spirit explains:
Immaturity is a necessary stage of growth
In all forms of life; including plants and people.
Farmers learn to recognize the stage of development of
Their plants and animals, and nourish them accordingly.
Teachers are as farmers in this respect.
I don’t ask what this reading says to me. He must think
That I am more mature than I feel.
