Significant Spiritual Others

A spirit teacher shares His understanding of
timeless wisdom contained within I Ching 37 –
Significant Spiritual Others.

This hexagram develops from Reduced Light (36)
and prepares the foundation for Disharmony (38).

The yin (emotional) trigram Wind is over Fire;
also yin. Together they express intense emotional
energies interacting with each other.

The light of understanding is reduced when our focus
is too narrow, too shallow, too broad, or too deep
for underdeveloped intellectual awareness to absorb
in a meaningful way.

Significant spiritual others refer to family; not
necessarily related by birth but by sharing our way
of life and a desire to serve Life by learning and
living a deeper knowing.

A deeper knowing of what?

A deeper knowing of each other’s truth and acceptance
of the reality that different so-called truths are
not necessarily mutually exclusive.

We each see from a unique perspective, and if we can
learn to accept and respect this reality, we will
discover a greater truth that each is part of.

Is there a personal message for me in this reading?

Yes, try not to care so much about what others think,
and allow yourself to be simply you.

Thinking Isn’t Being

Spirit shares His understanding of the I Ching
Hexagram 25 – No Error.

Heaven is above and Thunder is below.

No Error develops out of Return (25) and moves
into Great Accumulation (26).

There is always continuous movement within
each life and within each relationship that
connects each life into more than it would be
possible to be if individuality was other than
inseparable from all life; past, present, and
future.

Where does the concept of no error come into
this picture?

What picture?

Your description of life and of our oneness
within it

We are each more than one within Life. We are
Life.

Then, how does knowing that help us to live
a meaningful life?

We cannot live a meaningful life without
knowing it.

But, a meaningful life may mean different
things to different people.

What has that to do with anything?

Living a meaningful life may mean everything
to some individuals.

There are no individuals.

Perhaps, but there may be many of us who think
we are, more or less.

Thinking isn’t being.

It may be as close to being as some of us get.

Yes.

Happy New Year 2014

To wish everyone a healthy, happy, creative and meaningful 2014.

I must give public thanks to Spirit for the time and energy (which

may be negligible from his perspective, but from mine is massive)

that He has, for whatever reason (of His own) has invested in

educating and training me to assist Him in His mission (?) to

share with and through me, what others have shared with Him,

As you will surely be aware, through reading our posts, that

He and I seem to differ in our priorities and in the basic, well,

perhaps not basic, personal approach to Life as lived.

I have no idea where He plans to take our blog and I must

confess, when I dare to stop to think about it, it scares me.

That’s why I may seem to play it all a bit too lightly. It’s a

defensive mechanism that I seem to need.

What a heavy way to wish you all Happy New Year.

May it be great for you all and please stay with us. I

would be especially grateful to any of you who would

dare to question Spirit on whatever – perhaps even on

His existence.
