I Ching Wisdom – Life Moves in cycles.

Spirit shares His understanding of I Ching wisdom.
Today’s lesson relates to the life situation expressed in Hexagram 49 – Revolution.
Revolution follows The Well (48), and leads to The Cauldron (50). Lake is above Fire. Both are yang energies that, in this instance, harmonize together, with yang in the position of leader (5th line) and yin in a centered support role (2nd line).

Spirit explains: “Revolutions seek to change the structure of society through violence; to destroy what is, with intent to build something better.”

“Perhaps peaceful protests and elections didn’t seem to work? A dry well could express futility.”

“A cauldron is a heavy pot that is hung over fire to heat food or water. But, the fire must be attended to with care or the contents of the pot become unfit to eat.”

“And revolutions risk the same fate?”

“Yes.”

“If this reading contains a personal message for me and my struggles, then what alternative is available?”

“Resistance without rejection.”

“That could be unending.”

“Yes.:

“And, if that is unacceptable?”

“To whom?”

“To me, and perhaps many others.”

“Develop an alternative way and live it.”

“Are we going in circles?”

“No. Life moves in cycles.”

I Ching 11 – Tranquility

Today’s I Ching is Tranquility, an atmosphere of peace and

Contentment.

Tranquility follows Treading, which is movement. Now it is

Time for rest, but not a prolonged time of inactivity.

The I Ching teaches us that Life expands and moves.

Is there a personal message?

Yes.

What is it?

There is no need to hurry. We will arrive where we intend to,

When we intend to.

Where?

Wait and see.
