Between Beginnings and Endings

Spirit shares His understanding of timeless wisdom
hidden with the I Ching hexagram 46 – Rising.

Earth is over Wind. Both are Yin.
Rising follows Gathering (45) and moves into
Exhaustion (47).

Rising expresses upward movement, such as the Sun
seems to rise from the Eastern horizon, each morning,
wherever on Earth we may be. It then seems to reach
high into the sky, about mid-day, and then begins
to descend toward the Western horizon, arriving there
to end its daily journey, each evening.

How does that story relate to inspiration?

It teaches us that we live within a structured universe.
There are rules of order, known as Universal Laws.

How can knowing them help me, here and now, today?

Beginnings and endings are inevitable, but what happens
between the two reflects free will.

How?

We each choose.

What?

Not what, alone, but also how and why.

Spirit explains I Ching 43

Today’s I Ching – 43 – Removal.

Removal follows Increase.

Spirit explains:

Removal expresses predetermined and forceful action

To reduce or eliminate something or someone. Increase

Does not continue forever.

Increase in what? Removal of what? And, by whom or what?

Cause and effect serve Life to limit excesses of power and greed.

Whose power? Whose greed?

Not whose, as in suggesting someone other than self.

Everyone is guilty of wanting, or thinking they need,

More and more of more and more of whatever.

Perhaps it’s in our nature?

Yes, and so is the solution.

Which is?

Awareness.

Awareness of what?

Awareness of the inevitable consequences of an

Unlimited increase in power and greed.

I Ching 11 – Tranquility

Today’s I Ching is Tranquility, an atmosphere of peace and

Contentment.

Tranquility follows Treading, which is movement. Now it is

Time for rest, but not a prolonged time of inactivity.

The I Ching teaches us that Life expands and moves.

Is there a personal message?

Yes.

What is it?

There is no need to hurry. We will arrive where we intend to,

When we intend to.

Where?

Wait and see.
